Dietary / Food & Nutritional Services
The Dietary department serves everyone in the hospital because we all like to eat! Their mission is to provide high quality nutritious, appealing meals, nutrition education and community outreach that pleases the internal and external guests of TMH. They respond to patients, family members and each member of the hospital staff to meet their needs and whenever possible exceed their expectations.
If you haven’t tasted the delicious cuisine of the TMH dietary staff, next time you are a patient or visiting you will be pleasantly surprised to find Craig’s tastiest secret! In addition to serving meals, the staff is involved with promoting nutrition education through activities such as National Nutrition Month, Hospital Service Week, National Diabetes Education Awareness Month and Diabetes Alert Day, American Heart Association – Have a Healthy Heart, American Cancer Prevention, local grocery store tours, and nutrition programs in the community and the schools. Nutrition education programs are also offered to the medical staff and employees.
